What is BMJ OnEaxmination?

BMJ OnExamination provides access to quality medical revision resources. 

The Trust has purchased a number of discount codes to allow ESNEFT staff to access it for free. To download a request form head to the 'How to access' tab.

To request a code to access BMJ OnExamination, ESNEFT staff must complete an application form and this must be signed by their Educational Supervisor.

Visible Body

What is Visible Body?

Visible Body creates highly visual and interactive content for students and professionals who need to understand and communicate human anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

What can I access? 

All ESNEFT staff and students on placement have access to the following three anatomy apps from Visible Body:

  • Human Anatomy Atlas
  • Muscle Premium
  • Physiology and Pathology

Visible Body Homepage

You can access Visible Body with an NHS OpenAthens account.  Visit our OpenAthens webpage to create an account. 

To access Visible Body on a desktop PC or laptop: 

  • Visit Visible Body website (link above).
  • You might need to refresh page if you get a bad error gateway message.
  • Sign in with your OpenAthens details.
  • You can then access the three app versions we have access to.
  • To gain access to the free app versions so you can access on a mobile please email esneftlibrary@esneft.nhs.uk

Human Anatomy Atlas is a comprehensive 3D atlas of the human body that allows users to explore the human body

  • Learn about the complete male and female gross anatomy with thousands of 3D models that span 11 systems: nervous, skeletal, circulatory, muscular, digestive, urinary, lymphatic, endocrine, and reproductive
  •  Interact with every structure in 3D to simulate a dissection lab experience. Rotate, zoom in and out, dissect through superficial anatomy to study deep and hidden structures, or see structures in complete isolation
