Colchester Hospital Library is located on the ground floor of Villa 8. Turn left as you enter the building and follow the signs.
The Library and Digital Learning Office is next to the library (Room GF4).
The library team are available Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm.
The Library is accessible 24/7. Outside of office hours swipe your ESNEFT ID badge on the front door of Villa 8 for access.
Books are accessible 24/7 and you can borrow them via the self-service machine. You will need an active library card and password to use. For questions around your account please email library.services@esneft.nhs.uk
Books can be returned in the blue metal box outside Villa 8 or within the library.
There are 7 networked PCs and 2 docking screens for laptops.
There is 24/7 silent study room on the first floor. There are two networked PCs and one laptop docking screen. This room cannot be booked in advance.
There are 15 laptops available for short-term loan.
Individual trust IT accounts must be used on networked PCs. We do not have access to generic logins.
Search for books in the library via the reference pad.
Photocopying / printing / scanning (via ESNEFT networked machine).
The library can only be used by Staff, Students on placement at ESNEFT or St Helena and Elizabeth Hospices. Please wear appropriate ID while in the Library.
The library can take no responsibility for any items left unattended.

Ipswich Hospital Library is located in Education Centre on the ground floor.
The library staffed Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Out of hours access to the main library and study room annex is via hospital ID badge.

Annex office - an ideal space for quiet study / online activity - please book via Library staff. Please note this room is not a suitable meeting space and can accommodate no more than 2 people. This room does have a networked computer.
