Some pre-reading will be required and this will be sent to you before the session.

This workshop will help you understand what health literacy is and the impact low health literacy has on patients and visitors. It will also give you practical techniques to use when interacting with patients and visitors.

Journal clubs allow you to openly discuss different journal articles with other preceptees over a virtual platform.
This counts towards your participatory learning and is a great way to discuss different viewpoints on key issues in healthcare today.
We suggest that if you are unfamiliar with critiquing articles then you attend the critical appraisal study session beforehand.
